Some recent examples of tori (in columns, from left to right:) Fabien Vienne's "Petit Tore," Matt Collier's "20 Decagons", our MoM tester with this month's model and its shadow, and two more tori from Brian Hall, the "Red Blue Torus" and "Spiral Torus."

Petit Tore by Fabien Vienne
Fabien designed the green lines with Jean Baudoin, consulted on our relaunch packaging and has exhibited Zometool sculpture at the Musée Art Moderne in St. Etienne, France. The great designer is also a proponent of Zometool "half" blue and green lines, which he asserts are the true lengths of those lines, while the current whole lengths are "octaves," (or double lengths.)
Matt's an engineer and a neighbor of mine. He and his 12-year-old son Luke have been "playing" with Zome for about 6 years.
20 Decagons by Matt Collier
This guy's been using Zometool since he was 4. If he can build this month's model, there's a pretty good chance you can, too!
Doughnut Realized by Our Model of the Month Tester
Our tester insisted on casting a shadow of the doughnut along its 5-fold symmetry axis..
Doughnut Shadow
In response to Fabien's Petit Tore: "Fabien, very nice and simple! I had made a somewhat similar model with blues and reds, but not quite as "petit." Yours may be close to minimal complexity!"
